TRAIL
DESCRIPTIONS
Trail #1 (Intermediate)Short tight single track with some fun twists and small ravines. Take the short connector trail with the railroad tie bridge to jump onto trail #2. Trail #2 (Intermediate)This trail contains some technical single track with some switchbacks, a large but fun ravine to ride, and some faster sections to ride. This trail has some alternate routes if you want to skip the big ravine, but be careful of the bridge if it is wet. Trail #3 (Intermediate)Another short tight single track with fun twists, a two log piles, and a small ravine right before it connects with trail #4. Trail #4 (Easy)This is a faster, curvy single track with a small log pile and two medium sized ravines to master. Take trail #4 away from #5 and have a fast ride for a short while. Trail #4 will meet up with the beginning of trail#5. Trail #5 (More Difficult)This is a more challenging workout, with tight single track with many ravines of different sizes and challenge levels. Some of our riders call this the seven sisters because there are seven different ravines. Trail #6 (Intermediate but tight)Tight, twisty, fun, single track sections with several log piles of different sizes. This trail boasts some of the best technical parts of the entire trail system with tight turns and narrow pathways in some parts. Bovine Run (Intermediate)This is a relatively newly opened trail that runs 1 mile in length. It starts out with some curvy single track through some different terrain until it takes a turn and sends you quickly down a slight slope building up speed for a fun trip over a log pile. This then leads you through some curves to a fun, tight, and fast section. Make a sharp right turn to another short and fast section leading you to a good chance for some gratuitous air. Make sure you make the curve to your right because straight ahead is a thorn protected black locust tree. This will send you through a fun wooded section before coming out to the more open part of the trail. Dont fear, weve made it curvy with some obstacles to make your trip back up to the beginning a fun and quick ride. Now that you have rode it one way, turn around and ride the other way. Hillside (More Difficult)Our newest project is an even more challenging trail on the northeast side of the spillway. The trail is divided into 2 different sections that form a complete loop. There is Upper Hillside which is a curvy, up and down section where at the end you can take the down or go to your right which leads to a fast, short downhill that meets up again with the main trail. This is where Lower Hillside begins. Lower Hillside is a mostly flat single track that curves around and comes to the bank of Six Mile Creek where you can cross over to Bovine. Keep going on Lower Hillside and you will keep curving around eventually bringing you to two woops up on the side of the hill and then leading to a double switchback that climbs up to Upper Hillside.
